Tin Hot Mỗi NgàyPrivacy Policy
This policy explains what data Tin Hot Mỗi Ngày ("the App") handles. The App runs locally on its operator's computer. It has no server of its own and no user database.
1. Data the App receives from TikTok
When you connect your TikTok account through TikTok Login Kit, the App receives only what you authorize:
- user.info.basic: your open ID, display name and avatar, used to confirm which account is connected.
- video.upload / video.publish: permission to send videos the App created to your account, as drafts or as posts, and to read the posting options (such as available privacy levels) and the upload status of those videos.
- An OAuth access token and refresh token.
2. How the data is used
This data is used only to upload the App's own generated videos to your account and to report whether each upload succeeded. It is not used for advertising, profiling or analytics.
3. Storage and security
Tokens are stored in a local file on the operator's computer (secrets/tiktok_token.json). They are never sent anywhere except to TikTok's official API endpoints, over HTTPS.
4. Sharing
The App does not sell, rent or share your data with any third party.
5. Other data
To build videos, the App downloads public news headlines and summaries from RSS feeds and royalty-free images from Openverse or Pexels, and sends narration text to Microsoft's text-to-speech service. If the operator enables it, headlines are also sent to the Anthropic API to help write the narration. None of these requests include your TikTok data.
6. Retention and deletion
Tokens are kept until you disconnect. To remove all access, revoke the App in TikTok (Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions) and delete the local token file. Generated videos stay on the local computer and in your TikTok account until you delete them.
7. Children
The App is not intended for anyone under 18.
